Man's intercessor, as in our connection between self and our Creator God, is Jesus Christ, and thus the idea to not only cover self and family needs in prayer, but additionally with ease, to pray it forward for the benefit of fellow Christians in all four quarters of the globe.
Singling out the Christian is by no means to offend nor judge another for their beliefs, but rather, an empathetic appeal in helping bring to light the inerrant and infallible truth of Jesus Christ who secures souls for all eternity. Billions will lose their soul, being taught to believe Jesus as the lie, while being programmed to embrace lies (idolatry) as truth.
James 1:21 So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.
1 Peter 5:8 (NLT) Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
The post title, 'Pray it Forward' for the benefit of fellow Christians in all four quarters of the globe, is easier than one may think.
First, many Christians get bogged down and discouraged, giving up, quitting on self and/or their faith, because of unnecessary mile-long 'prayer lists.' Feeling the need to still earn God's blessings through works; 'not praying enough,' 'not doing enough,' or the need for 'daily repetitive requests for forgiveness,' etcetera, is the devil and not scripture; we're under grace, not under the law. Additionally, all sin is forgiven, never to be remembered again from our day of salvation, just as we forgive those who sin against us.
Prayer can be better understood - and one key verse to lighten the load, taking us away from the Law (having to earn God's blessings), and under grace (having Jesus and the Holy Spirit helping us), is found in Romans 8:26.
Romans 8:26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
As long as we feel overwhelmed with too much to do, we'll feel defeated; that's the devils doing! His primary objective is to steal, kill, and destroy all things good, and prayer is at the top of the list and capable of defeating the devil when we understand the power we have.
Again, satan has the Christian convinced they must be on their knees, or prostrate before God, praying without ceasing 24/7, 365, 7 days a week, which is a grave misunderstanding of the living word on how to pray.
In brief, when Paul teaches that we must pray without ceasing (stopping) in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 "16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus," he's saying to be conscious and aware of God every moment of our being, whether we're walking along, working, driving, or day-dreaming. To enjoy the privilege of giving God thanks, praise, honor, and glory as we go about our daily living, celebrating the free gift of life given us.
Jesus also teaches that we're not to pray like the gentiles (pagans) do, believing their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again, but rather referring to a more dignified and simple means of praying with His help. Nothing wrong with being on our knees or lying prostrate in prayer, but that is not what Paul or Jesus was trying to teach us.
Everything needed for our prayer life is found in the living word of God. Jesus taught the disciples how to pray in Luke 11:2-4 using key points of issue and concern.
For example, we could incorporate the few words Jesus taught on prayer, praying it over ourselves and family, PLUS, in the same breath, with ease of effort, pray it forward for the benefit of fellow Christians in all four quarters of the globe.
Throughout our days, no matter the time or place, we can use the following in whole, or in bits & pieces, for self and/or as we pray it forward without trying to remember all the who, what, and all the needs; we're covered, knowing Jesus and the Holy Spirit are helping us by knowing all things and all needs before we start.
Thank you, Abba Father for all things in Jesus name ( Ephesians 5:20), from all of us who call on You as Savior. Hallowed be thy name and thy Kingdom come, and thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Thank you for our daily bread.
Thank you that our debts are paid in full.
Thank you for ongoing blessings, favor, anointing, honor, and angelic protection.
Thank you for the platform to fulfill our divine purpose with a budget to make it happen.
Thank you for the forgiveness of our sins, past, current, and future, at salvation, never to be remembered again.
Thank you for keeping us from temptation and delivering us from the evil one, and all his demonic influences, challenges, and attacks against us.
Thank you for knowing all things before they happen (Isaiah 46:10), and all needs before we have a need (Matthew 6:8/32), and filling them.
Thank you that we can know your living word is inerrant and infallible; that you do not lie (Titus 1:2); that we are your masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10); your prized possession (James 1:18); your child, friend, sibling, and joint heir in the Kingdom of Heaven, invincible in you, healed, sanctified, Redeemed, with a rich & satisfied life, full of your wisdom, knowledge and understanding, and with the same power in us that raised Jesus from the dead, and that everything is possible if we will just believe and not doubt, amen and amen thank you Jesus!
As you can see, when we grasp a handful of key verses from the inerrant and infallible text as found in the Protestant Holy Bible, knowing we are truly invincible in Christ, with the same power that raised Jesus from the dead ... the role to PRAY IT FORWARD is not only an easy and enjoyable task, but a selfless one, covering self and family, as well as for the benefit of fellow Christians in all four quarters of the globe, as though flowing from the heart and mouth of each as you pray, and all for the glory of JESUS CHRIST LIVING GOD, amen.
PS:
Mark 11:24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
Notice the above prayer is based around Mark 11:24, thanking God in EXPECTATION for what is and what's coming, as we CHOOSE TO BELIEVE & NOT DOUBT his living word!
PPS:
If we know God cannot and does not lie - that His living word is provably inerrant and infallible - as witnessed in this post alone - why would any amount of skepticism or doubt be considered or entertained, other than falling for more lies of the devil? Thank you, Jesus!
