Why I give thanks to the author of life, is to be certain not to discredit the Living Word of the Living God, which is found to be inerrant and infallible - the absolute truth the world has propagated as far back as possible, to be a lie, leaving us in a bit of a pickle, or more appropriately, with the all too common double standard.
If it were not for the deceitfulness of our twenty-first century legal system, from the judges seat down, receiving the age-old-payola to turn a deaf and dumb ear, turning lies as truth into law, we might just find the majority more willing to seek out the absolute truth deliberately held from them, because they can - for there is indeed 'A Better Way.'
When Ephesians 5:20, teaches us to give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, while considering this living word is inerrant and infallible, unable to be discredited by the wisest of the envious, then I too must give thanks; we can disagree on our beliefs, of course, but no excuse when we have evidently long forgotten the benefits of gratitude itself, not to mention deserving and rightful respect given when thanks is offered - thus our own demise is caused through ignorance of overlooking said truth!
If Psalm 118:24 tells us, "This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it," and who am I, or we, to say He didn't create it, or not give thanks for it, again considering this same text remains irrefutable, and will always be the case. How? Why? Because, if it is the living word, which it is, then, Jesus Christ Living God, controls and watches over said book - not man or his pride and irresponsible and selfish motives that leads him astray.
With such a prominent and undeniable text available to us, knowing that by merely trusting by faith alone, in the proclaimed author of life, promised Messiah, and Savior of the World, to lead the way, His understanding not our own, His path and not our own that in the blink of an eye, we can go from being His enemy to His ally; to being another child of God, alongside His first born Son; to having Jesus Christ as our brother and joint heir in the Kingdom of God (Heaven), it makes perfect sense that we would want to take a much closer and serious look at this 'Jesus' guy, does it not?
If Jesus died for you and I, while we were still sinners, making us the righteousness of the living God, in whom holds the key to all wisdom and knowledge - and because of the cross on which He died, we can also know that by His wounds suffered on that cross we are healed, taking all sickness and disease with Him, PLUS, rising from the dead on the third day following His crucifixion, is this too not worthy of our attention?
In the book of Isaiah 43:10, God closes off this verse with "I alone am God. There is no other God— there never has been, and there never will be." Many have claimed the title of 'god' but zero have been able to prove it, to which Jesus did, over and over again - because He is God - He lives!
In closing, God's beautiful and faithful love for us never changes; as in those who believe by faith and faith alone in Him. Psalm 136 reveals this!
God is worthy of praise, awesome in creative power, and full of goodness, as promised from day one, to whom we should give thanks. Psalm 100 reveals this!
God, as in Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, purposefully created us as an essential work of art, and watched us grow in the dark of the womb. Psalm 139 reveals this!
God knows us to be invincible because of who we are in Him. Psalm 91 reveals this!
So, why should you worship, Jesus Christ Living God? Why not - for there is indeed 'A Better Way' while loving all judging none, agreeing to disagree, with peace, love, and joy, at the heart of it
