As the ongoing battle between good and evil has carried on throughout the centuries, from the creation of the world, we can capture a glimpse, a good example of said challenges for God, with King Hezekiah, who did what was pleasing in the eyes of the Lord for twenty-nine years (2 Chronicles 29), while his son, next in line, King Manasseh (2 Chronicles 33), began his fifty-five years of service, by way of detestable practices, not at all pleasing to the living God, only to be removed and then restored, after many lessons learned, and repenting of his sins.
And as the story continued, King Manasseh's son, Amon took over as King, who did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord, only for his son, Josiah, who became King (2 Chronicles 34), wisely, like his great grandfather, King Hezekiah, did what was pleasing in the eyes of God, right out of the gate. How is it that we just don't get it - even now in the twenty-first century?
I hate rehashing the PlanDemic over and over again, however, the track record from creation, of the ongoing battle between good and evil has always, and will always stand true; until God returns His Son, like a thief in the night, for the Rapture, followed by the seven year Tribulation period, and only then, might we begin to have hope of the devils last days.
So, what about today? Is there a simple answer as to why the masses refuse to see and follow the truth they need - 'The Son of Man - The Stairway Between Heaven & Earth?
Just as any Christian can know from the living word that we will not know all things until we enter our own glory of salvation (1 Corinthians 13:12), it's fair to consider, just as it was throughout the Old and New Testaments, how God closed eyes, ears, and hardened the hearts of the people that His living word and plan for humanity would not be compromised by the ignorance of man and his sinful nature, so it is today, as to why the masses appear to be deaf, dumb, and blind - for they are to be as such, all according to plan.
Isaiah 55:8-9 tells us, “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts."
In humble confession, if you knew me, Pastor and author of this post, as God knows me, even though my sins are long forgotten and forgiven, as promised in His living word, you would discover that I am no different, guessing far worse than you, even though you have not yet embraced Jesus as your Savior, by repenting of your sins to be forgiven.
Even though our sins are forgiven at salvation, never to be remembered by God again, as long as we are here on earth, those sins still remain with us (me), becoming less and less tempting as we grow in Christ's perfection. Therefore, because I still see and know of my old self and its sinful nature, who am I to consider judging you, or any other without Christ?
Jesus teaches us in Luke 6:42 "How can you think of saying, ‘Friend, let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye."
In closing, trusting 'The Son of Man - The Stairway Between Heaven & Earth,' beats mountains of gold bullion, because at salvation, placing our lives and souls into the hands of Jesus as Lord & Savior, we will live on even though we die, plus, instantaneously become white as snow, purified and justified (he has paid the price for our sins on the cross), before God. We become His masterpiece, His child and His friend, with His glory, while additionally and undeservingly, Jesus, CEO of the universe, author of life, promised Messiah and Savior of the world, becomes our brother and joint-heir in the Kingdom of heaven, for all eternity.
Amen and amen!
