My friend Paul says "And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus." He also says "For the same God who worked through Peter as the apostle to the Jews also worked through me as the apostle to the Gentiles." And although too many to list, Paul also tells myself and you "God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us."
The Prophet Isaiah tells us "I alone am God. There is no other God— there never has been, and there never will be," and just three verses later in Isaiah 43:13, he confirms to us that once we're onboard, trusting Jesus as our Lord & Savior, that nothing can snatch us from His hands; meaning we can do no wrong - white as snow - perfect in His eyes - eternally secure.
“From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.” And Jesus reaffirms us in John 10:28-29 when He says: "I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand."
So my hope is your hope my friend. Jesus is our only hope, for He was and is everything He claimed and proven to be, author of life, promised Messiah and Savior of the world, as noted particularly in the four Gospels of grace & truth; Jesus is grace and grace is Jesus, and in Him and Him alone we find eternal salvation. Isaiah 44:10 confirms "Who but a fool would make his own god— an idol that cannot help him one bit?"
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." And three chapters back in John 11:25 He teaches "I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying."
So, why settle for despair? Why chance another moment without Jesus as your Savior, not knowing what moment may be your last? Romans 10:9 shares "If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Jesus is our divine passage to eternal security, as noted above, the only way.
In considering all that is and has been taking place, noticeably for the past three years, appreciating that our world has never been locked down in the history of mankind - and suddenly more and more evil, not good, is mounting, leaving inerrant and infallible truth behind, including the likes of values, principles, integrity, accountability, and responsibility, perhaps this post is God knocking on your door to get your attention ... or more so, to get the Christian's attention to draw closer to Him so He can draw closer to you!
Matthew 3:2 - “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”
James 4:8 - "Come close to God, and God will come close to you."
Isaiah 7:9b - "Unless your faith is firm, I cannot make you stand firm."
