Mirror Mirror Today Change Begins

OK self, this is it! This is the day change needed begins with you. Yes you! No one else here but you looking at me, and me looking at you. All bad habits, addictions, cursing and pride are being tossed out the window, as humanly possible, one at a time, starting today.

We can all look good, or bad. We all have flaws. None of us are perfect. But sometimes we get to thinking we are, when deep down, if honest, we're the furthest thing from it.

In the mirror, daily, I will hold myself accountable!

It is said everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.

Sin is sin! One who steals, is as guilty of sin as one who murders, curses, thrives on pride, or hijacks a plane or a person. It's all sin, and in the flesh, not even the Christian can claim exemption, other than being perfect in God's eyes from salvation, unable to do further wrong - sanctified - approved by God in other words - white as snow - imperfect in our own eyes and opinion, BUT perfect in His - "For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time."

A paradox enters the equation because no one is without sin, therefore, justice comes by suppressing one sin over another; sinners judging sinners.

For clarity, a Christian attends church and/or believes in Jesus, because they know they are far from perfect, but choose to acknowledge their sins and request the help of the promised Savior, Jesus the Christ, to forgive them of their sins, as they forgive those who sin against them; Matthew 6:14 teaches, "If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you."

Consider the Christian who judges a fellow Christian as though they themselves were somehow exempt. 2 Timothy 3:16 teaches "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right." AND YET, Luke 6:42 also teaches "How can you think of saying, ‘Friend, let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the login your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the login your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye."

Is this not yet another paradox - sinners judging sinners?

Consider fellow Patriots amidst the PlanDemic's chaos and division, judging each other for differing opinions, which is sin, yet another paradox, both on the same team, fighting against each other and the evil of the Cabal and its demonic minions.

Chaos and division doesn't get much better than this - the devils masterful deception - especially if civil war breaks out - or Christian denomination against denomination (Gal 5:15).

Choosing to ignore the sin in our own lives makes us part of the chaos & division problem, not the solution. If we have confessed our sins, asking Jesus to forgive us, yet, carry on no different than the world without Jesus, again, we're part of the problem, not the solution.

King Solomon closed off his book of Ecclesiastes with the following:

“Everything is meaningless,” says the Teacher, “completely meaningless.” Keep this in mind: The Teacher was considered wise, and he taught the people everything he knew. He listened carefully to many proverbs, studying and classifying them. The Teacher sought to find just the right words to express truths clearly. The words of the wise are like cattle prods—painful but helpful. Their collected sayings are like a nail-studded stick with which a shepherd drives the sheep. But, my child, let me give you some further advice: Be careful, for writing books is endless, and much study wears you out. That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty. God will judge us for everything we do, including every secret thing, whether good or bad."

Change is inevitable, but change starting with self is worthy of applause - PK
